Summer Slam 2019 is happening this Saturday at Deering Oaks Park! It’s MUCH MORE than a free basketball camp for kids 6 to 16… It’s a TRU Sports / Festival of Nations event, promoting development, inclusion, leadership, and a free concert series featuring Portland’s own Michael O, as seen on Pitch Perfect 2! Professional basketball instruction, prizes, snacks, free t-shirts, and great music!

Catch Summer Slam DAY TWO on Sunday at Maine Girl’s Academy, 631 Stevens Ave! All-Star showcases, games, the Summer Slam league championship, plus dunk and 3 point contests! Mad talent comes out at this TRU Sports / Festival of Nations event, including me, Ryan Deelon, spinning the tunes to keep the energy up, and the Summer Slam party going. Games start at 3 o’clock.
