(Intern) Meet Our New Intern – Kara!

Heyyy everybody I’m Kara- there’s a 99% chance you just pronounced my name wrong. I’m a senior at The University of Southern Maine here in Portland, majoring in English Literature with a focus on writing. Not born, but raised in the heart of Midcoast Maine I grew up on the ocean and graduated from Lincoln Academy High School. I spend my free time listening to music, working out, studying fashion, and modeling with local photographers (find me on instagram @lil.tacoo). I also volunteer at a local preschool working with English as Second Language families and help out at the Boys and Girls Club. I love working with the youth of our community and hope to continue no matter what career path I pursue after graduating! I’m excited to enter the world of radio and learn from the fabulous people of Hot 104.7!
