Memorial Day is coming up on Monday, May 30th!
There are many celebrations across Maine for you and your family to enjoy! Here are a few:
Westbrook Memorial Day Parade
-The Parade will begin at 10 am on May 30th.
-It will start at the intersection of Mechanic Street & William Clarke Drive traveling down Main Street.
-There will be a ceremony following in Riverbank Park.
Portland Memorial Day Procession
-The Procession starts at 2 pm on May 30th.
-It begins near Longfellow school, proceeds north on Stevens Ave, then ends at Evergreen Cemetery.
-Events include guest speakers and honoring Veterans.
Falmouth Memorial Day Parade
-The Parade begins at 10 am on May 30th.
-It will start at 65 Depot Road, then proceed to Pine Grove Park, 34 Foreside Road.
-There will also be a ceremony and performances from the Falmouth Middle and High School bands and choruses.
Hartford Memorial Day Parade
-The Parade will start at 6 pm on May 30th.
-It starts at Hartford central school and goes north up Hartford Main st.
-Ends at the Town Barn.
