A petition started by Sean Gray, of Kentucky has created a lot of buzz calling for Quavo to be featured on a new version of The Star Spangled Banner. In an interview with TMZ, Quavo stated, “There’s just a lot going on behind the national anthem,”. It seems as though Huncho is taking the approach from a political standpoint.

Later in the interview TMZ asks how “serious” he is about it. Quavo then replies, “I would love to do it, but I wanna do like a 2017 national anthem for both people, for all races, you know what I’m saying? And put it together.” suggesting that he would be down to completely redo the entire anthem to represent a modern America that relates to all of our citizens in a positive way.
