A judge has now granted Megan Thee Stallion a request for a five-year restraining order against Tory Lanez. He is currently in jail after being convicted of shooting Megan in 2020. He’s not scheduled to be considered for parole until 2029. The restraining order will be in place until January 9th, 2030.
In her testimony, Megan said, “I want my restraining order because I haven’t been at peace since I [was] shot.” She added, “I’m just a nervous wreck all the time.”
I hope this give her some peace and the ability to now focus on the amazing things she’s doing for underserved communities with the Pete and Thomas Foundation. Proud of you, Meg!
