Missy Elliott has the honor of being the first rapper in space…sort of! Her song, “The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly),” is the first rap track to be beamed into deep space. Last week, NASA’s Deep Space Network was able to broadcast the song 158 million miles from Earth to Venus at the lightspeed. The signal took approximately 14 minutes to reach its destination.
