The track debuted simultaneously on the Hot 100, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Country Songs charts before being removed from that last one. “‘Old Town Road’ does not embrace enough elements of today’s country music to chart in its current version,” Billboard explains. Meanwhile, Justin Bieber declared the track a “banger” on Instagram this week.
