Colin Kaepernick has launched an initiative to provide defense lawyers for protesters following the death of George Lloyd. The new Know Your Rights Camp Legal Defense Initiative will fund legal help for those in the Minneapolis area. Kaepernick last played for the NFL in 2016 after he began “taking a knee” in silent protest during the national anthem.
