Drake’s lawyers are trying to get him out of providing a deposition in the XXXTentacion murder case. On Monday, Drake’s attorney responded to a subpoena and a judge’s order. The statement said, “No evidence has been provided to substantiate the assertion that [Drake] in any way contributed to, had knowledge of, or participated in the alleged incident and to mandate that he appear for deposition for something that he very clearly has no relevant knowledge of is unreasonable.” A lawyer representing one of the defendants brought up an old Instagram post that X posted allegedly saying, “If anybody kills me, it’s Drake.” X later said he had been hacked.
An attorney for #Drake appeared in court arguing the deposition subpoena in the XXXTentacion. He stated that Drake does not have anything to do with this case and shouldn't have to appear in court.
