Gunna has been released from jail. On Wednesday, he pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act. Gunna took what’s called an Alford plea deal. The defendant doesn’t admit to the crime but feels it is in their best interest to plead guilty. In a statement, Gunna said, “While I have agreed to always be truthful, I want to make it perfectly clear that I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way.” He was sentenced to five years in jail with one already done. The sentence was commuted to time served. The other four years have been conditionally suspended, and Gunna must perform 500 hours of community service. Gunna was caught up in the RICO indictment involving Young Thug and over twenty other YSL associates.
