Ten years ago, Cierra Bosarge called a radio station asking Cole to sing “Happy Birthday” to her. Three months later, Cole met up with Cierra and she gave him a letter. According to her, “In the letter it says all I went through, with being adopted, my parents being hooked on drugs, in and out of prison. At the time both parents were in prison so I asked him could he come to my graduation since they can’t.” Cole obliged under one condition; as long as Cierra got into a four-year university. She did and he showed up when she graduated two years later. Fast forward to 2022. Cole showed up at Cierra’s college graduation from Rowan University in New Jersey. She tweeted, “i’ll post when i’m ready, im still soaking in the moment.”
