It was just announced that Jennifer Lopez will receive the Fashion Icon Award at the 2019 CFDA Awards this summer.
“Jennifer Lopez uses clothes as a way to express confidence and power,” CFDA chairwoman Diane von Furstenberg says in a press release shared by Vogue. “Both designers and fans look forward to her fashion statements.”
Each June, the international fashion community honors the best and brightest in American design at the CFDA Fashion Awards. So if you’re considered for the CFDA Award, it’s one of the highest honors in fashion.

Jlo is expected to attend the ceremony on June 3 to accept her Fashion Icon award at the Brooklyn Museum. Meanwhile, Ryan & Krissy will be giving away tickets in the morning at 8 am for the rest of the week to see her in concert July 16th at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield.
