(News) Julian Edelman Responds to DeSean Jackson’s Anti-Semitic Social Media Post

Patriots Receiver Julian Edelman, who is Jewish, invited DeSean Jackson to visit the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington. Jackson recently apologized for making anti-Semitic posts on social media. “I know he said some ugly things, but I do see an opportunity to have a conversation,” Edelman said in a video. Edelman told Jackson that if they visit the Holocaust museum, he would then welcome a trip with him to the National Museum of African American History. “I don’t want to distract from how important the Black Lives Matter movement is, and how we need to stay behind it,” he said. “So what we need to do is, we need to listen. We need to learn. We need to act. We need to have these uncomfortable conversations if we’re going to have real change.”
