Mac Miller’s parents are expected to attend the 61st Annual Grammy Awards in his honor. Sources close to Miller’s family say his parents Karen Meyer and Mark McCormick will attend the ceremony in case their late son wins an award for Best Rap Album.
The 26-year-old artist, who passed away last September from a drug overdose, earned his first-ever Grammy nomination for his Swimming album shortly after his death.
Other artists nominated in the Best Rap Album category include Cardi B (Invasion Of Privacy), Travis Scott (Astroworld), Nipsey Hussle (Victory Lap) and Pusha T (DAYTONA).
The Grammy Awards take place on February 10 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
