After the internet blew up over rumors that Taylor Swift would play the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show, which she turned down, the Super Bowl Halftime Show has found its main act! Rihanna has officially signed on to perform at Super Bowl LVII halftime show at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on Feb. 12. “Rihanna is a generational talent, a woman of humble beginnings who has surpassed expectations at every turn. A person born on the small island of Barbados who became one of the most prominent artists ever. Self-made in business and entertainment,” Jay-Z said in a statement. Apple Music, which the NFL announced earlier this week would replace previous sponsor Pepsi as the upcoming halftime show’s sponsor. Rihana shared the news on Instagram posting a photo of her holding an official NFL football. She captioned the post with a single period. Rihanna hasn’t released a new album in six years but lately has been spotted in the studio.
