At the ripe age of just 19 years old, Khalid is well on his way to super-stardom.
In the same day that he found out his featureless debut album, American Teen, went platinum, he got the opportunity to perform one of the project’s lead singles on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Young Dumb & Broke is a song about, well, just that, the carelessness and recklessness of being an American Teen. Khalid’s lighthearted and glowing personality, one of the many reasons he’s one of the most likable new figures in music, shine bright in this performance.
