After Trump defended his plan to build a wall along the Mexican border and to identify and deport some 11 million people, Kasich responded by telling the audience to “think about the families; think about the children.” He also described Trump’s “ship them back” approach as a “silly argument” and “not adult.” Later, Bush warned that Trump’s harsh proposals would drive Hispanic voters to support the Democrats. “They’re doing high-fives in the Clinton campaign right now when they hear this,” he declared.
