The BET awards were last night. P. Diddy received the Lifetime Achievement award, Giveon suffered mic malfunctions and Kanye West made a rare appearance.
Here’s a look at the winners: Megan The Stallion won Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, Kendrick Lamar won Best Male Hip-Hop Artist, Jazmine Sullivan won Top Female R&B/Pop Artist, The Weeknd won Top Male R&B/Pop Artist, Latto won Best New Artist and Best Collaboration went to WizKid, Justin Bieber & Tems for Essence.
Jack Harlow wore a Lil Nas X t-shirt to the awards show to show support after Lil Nas X was snubbed from nominations. He also performed “First Class” live with a surprise remix from Brandy–who he didn’t know existed until a couple of months ago. They definitely know each other now!
