On Tuesday, the Boston Bruins fired their Stanley Cup winning head coach Claude Julien after 10 seasons with the Bruins. Their general manager Don Sweeney apologizes for the timing of the firing, as it happened 2 hours before the Patriots Superbowl Parade.
For the interim, Bruce Cassidy (below) has been named head coach. Since Claude has been released, the Bruins have been on a winning streak and might pull it together for the playoffs for the first time in 2 years.
