Tyrese Gibson always seems to be up to something bizarre. This time, he allegedly modified an Airbnb house without permission and is now being sued for it. Earlier this year, he signed a six-month lease to live at this home in Woodland, CA for $20,000 a month.
According to the property manager, Tyrese made a lot of changes during his time there, including altering electrical panels, painting the marble fireplace, and closing off doors and windows. While he didn’t deny any of this, Tyrese did say the changes he made were not permanent and that he blocked some doors and windows for privacy concerns.
The homeowner, Tiffanique Webb, tried to get him to return the home to its original condition, but she said he stopped responding to her calls and emails. She’s now suing Tyrese for $25,000. That actually seems pretty reasonable considering all the the weird modifications he made! If he can afford a $20,000 a month Airbnb, I’m sure he can spare it.
