Not only is this dude gonna be in Portland tomorrow (Wed 6/15), but he just performed my favorite track off The Impossible Kid on the Late Show with Colbert last night, making his first national TV appearance ever. I’m bummed I missed this, but that’s why the internet is so great.

I’ll also never stop pushing for this dude. I put Aes as one of my top rappers of all time, if not the GOAT. I’m sure I’ll catch some flak from Deelon for even posting about him.

Sure, music is all subjective, but Aesop Rock (not to be confused with A$AP Rocky) is almost literally off the charts when it comes to vocabulary in hip hop.

Yes, he beats out every single rapper…ever. And chances are you’ve never heard of him. So tragic, I know. Well that’s why I’m here: to get everyone on the Aesop train. Better late than never. B’lieve dat.
