3. Systems are back online at South Portland Public Schools after a cyberattack over the weekend. The school department’s director of technology said “Fortunately we were able to disconnect the equipment from our network and turn off the internet as we investigated.” He does not believe student or other data was accessed in the attack. “We believe, based on the IP address, that it was a random attack originating from Bulgaria,” he added. 4. The Place in Camden is the latest Maine bakery to receive national praise. The New York Times has included the venue in their list of “22 of the best bakeries across the U.S. right now.” The Place was the only New England bakery to make the list. (PH)
