1. Police in Portland say they arrested a man this weekend they believe was making a bomb and had made threats. Police went to a home at 22 Runnels Street on Saturday with crisis negotiators and arrested Daryl Walsh after negotiators convinced him to leave his apartment. (WMTW)
2. Nineteen-year-old Alexzander Goodwin was sentenced Monday. Goodwin will spend five years behind bars for a shooting incident at the Naples Causeway on July 4, 2023. (WGME)
3. It’s strawberry season in Maine. Maxwell’s Farm and Jordan’s Farm in Cape Elizabeth both posted notices Friday to let their customers know about a fruit fly infestation forcing them to close their fields for strawberry picking. (WGME)
