2. Students at UMaine have been complaining about poor food quality at the school’s Hilltop Commons Dining Hall. UMaine Vice President of Finance and Chief of Business Kelly Sparks said the university is taking immediate action. (NCM)
3. Delta has become the latest airline to raise its checked baggage fee. The 17 percent price hike raises the cost of checking luggage on Delta to $35 for the first bag. If you bring a second bag, the fee has gone up from $40 to $45. In the last few weeks, American, United, Alaska Airlines, and JetBlue Airways have also raised their bag fees. (USAToday)
4. Oscar Mayer is introducing vegan hot dogs and sausages. The creation is a partnership between Kraft-Heinz and Jeff Bezos’ backed NoCo. NotHogDogs and NotSausages will include Bratwurst and Italian sausage flavors. The new products will be in stores later this year. (CBS)
