2. Three young Turner Fire-Rescue first responders helped deliver a baby girl in a grocery store parking lot after she decided not to wait for the hospital. The family pulled into the Food City parking lot on Route 4, where EMT Chris Bellefleur delivered the baby less than a minute after arriving. Mom, baby and dad were all taken to the hospital safely, and the crew earned their first stork pins. (WMTW)
3. After nearly 10 years in business, Noble Pizzeria & Barbeque in Portland is closing its doors. Owner Ryan Carey says the decision was driven by a desire to spend more time with his growing family and focus on other ventures. The restaurant’s final day of operation will be July 12. (WGME)
4. Lionel Messi made more World Cup history Monday, scoring his record-setting 17th World Cup goal as Argentina beat Austria 2-0 in Dallas. The goal came just two days before Messi’s 39th birthday and marked his sixth straight World Cup match with a goal. Messi added a second score in the victory as Argentina continued its World Cup run.
