1. Members of Maine’s congressional delegation said they favor providing additional sanctions and military equipment to support Ukraine. However, none of the Maine lawmakers expressed support for enforcing a no-fly zone over Ukraine.
2. School officials say a camera was found in a dorm bathroom at Bates College in Lewiston. The school says a staff member put the camera in a bathroom fixture and that the person is no longer working for the school.
3. Interstate 295 between Portland and Falmouth will close for 64 hours starting at 7pm on April 22nd. The 61-year-old Veranda Street bridge will be removed. A new bridge, which is under construction next to the old bridge, will be rolled into place.
4. Jessica Meir, the first woman from Maine to go to space back in 2019, is being recognized for her achievements by the Maine Women’s Hall of Fame. Meir was selected to be a part of NASA’s next trip to the moon.
