Fresh off of the release of his 2nd solo album, Rocket Power, Quavo’s dropped the touching tribute video to his fallen nephew and Migos member, Takeoff. The video for “Hold Me” shows Quavo, family, and friends alike all donning t-shirts with Takeoff’s face on them as they set ablaze floating lanterns that rise to the skies above. Throughout this segment of the video, various people can be seen throwing up a “T” symbol with their arms, of course, in tribute to Takeoff.
The second portion of the video sees Quavo heading overseas to Paris, France, where he can be seen visiting the Eiffel Tower, hosting a meet & greet style event, and performing for a raucous crowd, all while showing love and carrying the memory of Takeoff.
This is the first album Quavo has released since Takeoff’s untimely and tragic death, so as you can imagine it is an emotional one that makes sure it keeps T’s memory alive and well.
