1. 22 years later the remains of two people who died in the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center have been identified. Their names were withheld by city officials at the request of their families. More than 1,000 human remains from the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks have yet to be identified. (PH)
2. Portland officials will hold a ceremony this morning to honor those killed in the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks, including seven Mainers. The ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Fort Allen Park on the Eastern Promenade. Gov. Janet Mills has directed that flags be lowered today to remember and honor those lost. (PH)
3. Eleven people were injured Saturday afternoon after a portion of the walkway at Doubling Point Lighthouse in Arrowsic collapsed. Five were transported to the hospital. An investigation as to why the platform collapsed is underway. (WMTW)
4. Tom Brady will be inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame on June 12. That was the major announcement during halftime for the Patriots season opener on Sunday. Robert Kraft said he is waiving the usual 4 year waiting period. Brady wrapped up the ceremony by saying he’s a Patriot for life. (WGME)
5. Arby’s has introduced its Big Game Burger. The sandwich includes elk and venison meat mixed with ground beef. The burger is topped with crispy onions, tangy pickles, melty Swiss cheese, and a dark cherry steak sauce. Participating Arby’s locations will have the Big Game burger starting tomorrow. (CB)
