1. A Cumberland County woman is accusing a retired Boston fertility treatment doctor of impregnating her with his own sperm without her consent over 40 years ago. Sarah Depoian says that she learned of the violation after her daughter took an at-home DNA test that connected her to multiple relatives of Dr. Merle Berger, a former professor at Harvard Medical School. Tesla is recalling more than 2 million vehicles, all Y, S, 3 and X models produced between October 2012 and December 2023, over a software defect that monitors a driver’s attention while using the Autopilot feature. The Library of Congress will add 25 titles to its National Film Registry, honoring them for their “cultural, historic or aesthetic significance to preserve the film heritage of the U.S.” Films added this year include ‘12 Years a Slave,’ ‘Home Alone,’ ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’, ‘Apollo 13’, and ‘Terminator 2: Judgment Day.’ Movies considered for the Film Registry must be at least ten years old.
