1. President Biden and former reality TV show host Donald Trump clinched their parties’ presidential nominations Tuesday, setting up a general election rematch that many voters do not want. Their rematch is the first featuring two U.S. presidents since 1912. Biden would be 86 at the end of his 2nd term and Trump would be 82. (PH)
2. Luke’s Lobster, based in Maine, is now the official lobster roll of the Boston Red Sox. Their lobster rolls and New England clam chowder will be part of the ballpark lineup starting in April. There will be two locations for Luke’s at Fenway Park: on the 1st base concourse and just outside the park on Jersey Street. (WMTW)
3. Airbnb has banned all indoor security cameras at its partner houses, condos and apartments. Previously, cameras were allowed in public areas like hallways and living rooms but not in bedrooms or bathrooms. Airbnb said “These changes were made in consultation with our guests, hosts, and privacy experts, and we’ll continue to seek feedback to help ensure our policies work for our global community.” (USAToday)
4. Trader Joe’s tote bags have become the “it” item for people to scoop up. The $2.99 bags sold out at TJ locations across the country. Sets of four bags began showing up for re-sale on sites like eBay for $1,000. Trader Joe’s released a statement saying they will be restocked this summer and they “do not endorse the re-sale” of any of their products. (People)
