As the pandemic continues to crush the film industry, movie theater chain Regal Cinemas has announced that it will close all of its 543 U.S. locations. Regal was hoping to keep the lights on with profits from the upcoming James Bond film, ‘No Time To Die’. Plans changed when MGM announced Friday that it would delay the Bond film, for a second time, until 2021. Variety reports that Regal could keep all 543 theaters closed until 2021. Currently the only 2 opperating Regal Cinemas in Maine are located in Brunswick and Augusta.
