The United Soccer League has announced that Maine will have a professional soccer club in 2025!
Portland’s future team will soon host teams from across the country at Fitzpatrick Stadium. The club has the potential to become one of the strongest based on soccer culture and a multi-cultural population.
Fitzpatrick Stadium will remain open for student and public use in the years to come. However, it will see some major upgrades!
Have any name ideas for the team? The soccer club will be inviting the public to future meetings to brainstorm a name, uniforms and fan experience.
