1. Waterville teen, Xavier Pelky, has agreed to plead guilty to conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists. FBI agents found three home-made explosive devices in his bedroom and a hand-painted ISIS flag hanging on his wall. Pelkey is accused of plotting to attack a mosque in Chicago in the name of ISIS. 2. Two robbery suspects were taken to the hospital with severe injuries by LifeFlight after crashing their car during a police chase in Jay. The chase started when investigators responded to a robbery at the Label Shopper in Jay Plaza. (WMTW)
3. For the first time an opioid drug treatment will be available without a prescription. The FDA has approved over-the-counter narcan. Between July 2021 and July 2022, more than 2,000 people were revived by naloxone in Maine. (PH)
4. Maine school districts are set to receive $42 million more than expected in state aid due to a calculation error. Portland will receive $3.6 million more than expected. Lewiston and Bangor will see an increase of nearly $900,000. (WMTW)
