1. Trump suggested N.C. voters vote by mail and “then go and vote” in person as well. He tweeted later, “go to your Polling Place to see whether or not your mail-in vote has been tabulated (counted).” N.C. Board of Elections noted Thursday that it is a Class 1 felony to vote twice on purpose. It is also illegal to solicit someone to vote twice. 3. Cases at Calvary Baptist Church in Sanford increased from five to 10 on Thursday. The CDC sent pastor Todd Bell a letter outlining expectations and offering to help the church comply with the state’s executive order. “We have a strong expectation of compliance” said Maine CDC director Dr. Shah. 4. For the next few weeks, residents in Kittery might be hearing some loud noises. “Bird Bangers” will be used at playing fields across town to make the area uncomfortable for geese who gather there. The device will emit a loud noise like a firecracker. (WGME)
5. The Toronto Raptors were a half-second away from losing their third game to the Boston Celtics. But Toronto’s OG Anunoby (An-Ah-No-Bee) nailed a 3-pointer at the buzzer to give them a 104-103 win. The shot likely saved Toronto’s season for now, and drew the series closer at 2-1 in favor of Boston. No NBA team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit to win a playoff series.
