1. Joe Biden was declared President-elect on Saturday morning when major news organizations called Pennsylvania for the Democratic candidate. The state’s 20 electoral votes pushed Biden past 270. Biden’s Vice-President pick Kamala Harris becomes the first woman to hold the office. On top of that. Harris makes history as America’s first Black and South Asian Vice-President. In his address on Saturday night, Biden appealed for unity saying. “This is the time to heal in America.” (AP)

2. Donald Trump supporters say the election is not over. The former reality TV show host has not yet spoken publicly about the results but he Tweeted Saturday morning that he won this election by a lot, which Twitter flagged because it’s not true. (NEWS CENTER)

3. President-elect Joe Biden’s team began outlining a plan to build a coronavirus task force and administration Sunday, with more announcements expected today. (WMTW)

4. The U.S. tops 9.9 million Covid-19 cases with over 237,000 deaths. The Maine CDC reported no new deaths and 90 new cases on Sunday. Maine’s death toll is 152 with 1,606 active cases. (WMTW)

5. Southern New England woke up to an earthquake Sunday morning. The magnitude 4.0 earthquake occurred at 9:10 a.m., centered near Dartmouth on the south coast of Massachusetts. Shaking had been reported as far north as Manchester, New Hampshire and as far south as Long Island, New York. (NEWS CENTER)
