2. Gov. Janet Mills on Wednesday urged to avoid in-person Thanksgiving gatherings as COVID-19 cases continue to surge across Maine. Mill said she is not considering a stay-at-home order like was issued in the spring, but she said the state is considering other options to limit the spread of the virus. (WMTW)
