4. Senator Angus King on Tuesday announced his endorsement of former Vice President Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election. King has been critical of Trump — calling his COVID-19 response ‘infuriating and heartbreaking’, criticizing the president’s refusal to commit to a peaceful transition of power if he loses, and he spoke out against Trump’s failure to condemn white supremacist groups.
