1. President Biden sent a request for an additional $33 billion in humanitarian and military aid to Ukraine. This would be added to the $13.6 billion worth of Ukraine aid that Congress approved last month following the invasion by Russia.
2. Maine reported 464 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday. COVID-19 hospitalizations declined slightly 136 to 132.
3. Governor Janet Mills has tested positive for COVID-19. The Governor’s Office says she tested positive Thursday afternoon after developing a mild scratchy throat. Mills says she has no other symptoms and she feels well.
4. The Maine Mariners won game three of their Kelly Cup Playoff series last night 5-4 against Reading. It was their first home playoff game and playoff win in franchise history.
