1. A truck drove into a crowd at Bastille Day celebrations late Thursday in Nice, southern France, leaving at least 84 people dead. The truck driver shot into crowds before plowing into people for around 1.2 miles until he was shot to death by authorities. (CNN)
2. 2016 Election News… One of Maine’s politicians has made a decision in the 2016 presidential race. Senator Angus King told CNN Thursday morning that he is supporting Hillary Clinton for president. Gov. Mike Pence is dropping his re-election bid in Indiana to become Donald Trump’s running mate. A formal announcement is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday in Manhattan. (WMTW)
3. A body was found in Nashua by New Hampshire Pokemon Go players. The body was found in the Salmon Brook water at Rotary Park in Nashua at about 2 p.m. Thursday afternoon. (WCSH)
4. Twitter analyzed 30 million of its 140-character Tweets to determine the most popular ice cream flavors in each of the 50 states. Coffee came out on top in 17 states, more than any other flavor, followed by cookie dough with 15 states. Mainers like mint chocolate chip the best. Maine is one of only three states, along with New Jersey and Delaware, to favor the flavor. (BD)
