1. Former President George H.W. Bush has died. He was 94 years old. Family spokesperson Jim McGrath confirmed the news late Friday night in a tweet. According to the former president’s official obituary, Bush “loved nothing more than fishing and spending time with his family in Maine – where he also reveled in driving his motorboat at high speeds and entertaining an endless procession of guests.” (NewsCenterMaine)
2. President Donald Trump told reporters on Saturday that the seats from Air Force One are being removed so that the aircraft can transport George H.W. Bush’s casket from Houston to Washington, D.C. Bush Sr.’s remains will lie in D.C. from Monday to Wednesday. A private funeral will follow at St Martin’s Episcopal Church in Houston on Thursday, and Bush will be buried in the grounds of his presidential library, at Texas A&M University. (Daily Mail)
3. The Maine Department of Transportation is launching a program that will help motorists on Interstate 295. On Monday, an outside company called AutoBase will start to patrol between Exit 1 in Scarborough and Exit 22 in Freeport. The service comes after AutoBase signed a 2-year, $300,000 contract with the Maine Department of Transportation. (NewsCenterMaine)

It took him 265 games, but Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has finally eclipsed 1,000 career rushing yards. “Hopefully, I don’t go backwards next week,” he said. “It was good to get the win — that’s what I’m most excited about.
