1. Former reality TV show host Donald Trump is expecting to be arrested tomorrow, stemming from felony charges related to his alleged payments to Stormy Daniels. Trump would be the first president to face criminal charges after leaving office. (JN)
2. Maine State Police issued an Amber Alert for an 11-year-old around 10:45 p.m. Sunday and canceled it about a half hour later. The child’s mother had taken her during a supervised visit. She was found safe. (WGME)
3. An Alfred woman is under arrest as police allege she called in fake threats at a Walmart in Seabrook. She allegedly made the calls to distract the police from arresting her boyfriend who was hiding in a fitting room in a nearby Dick’s Sporting Goods. She made the calls on speaker phone while in an Uber. The driver alerted police. (WMTW)
4. Falmouth’s Mitch Ham was announced as the 2023 Travis Roy Award winner Saturday. With 24 goals and 42 assists this season Ham is the Navigator’s fifth winner of the award given to the state’s top Class A senior. (PH)
5. Sweetz & More, billed as New England’s largest sweets shop, will replace Big Al’s Super Values store in Wiscasset, which closed last year after 35 years in business. The Wiscasset store will feature more than 7,500 products, including 835 varieties of retro glass bottle soda, 80 flavors of saltwater taffy and 48 flavors of cotton candy. There will be chocolate-covered gummy bears, Satellite Wafers, Canada Mints, wax bottles and more. There will also be an ice cream bar. (PH)
