1. Another woman has stepped forward to claim former President George H.W. Bush inappropriately touched her. Roslyn Corrigan tells Time that she posed for a photo with Bush in 2003 at a gathering of CIA officers north of Houston. She was 16 at the time and attended the event with her mother and father, who was an intelligence analyst. Corrigan is at least the sixth woman to claim Bush groped her. (PH)
2. Republican U.S. Sen. Susan Collins of Maine is joining Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell in calling for Senate candidate Roy Moore of Alabama to step aside. Collins tweeted Monday that she didn’t find Moore’s denials of sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl to be convincing, and she called on him to withdraw from the Senate race in Alabama. The Washington Post reported Moore was 32 when he allegedly initiated sexual contact with the 14-year-old and pursued romantic relationships with other teenage girls. (WCSH6)
I have now read Mr. Moore’s statement and listened to his radio interview in which he denies the charges. I did not find his denials to be convincing and believe that he should withdraw from the Senate race in Alabama.

3. More than 2,000 people have been affected by a recent data breach in Maine. The Maine Office of Information Technology is starting to notify people Monday. The office says back in September as part of a technology system upgrade, information from the child welfare services database was posted on a third party website. Compromised information includes names, addresses, social security numbers as well as children’s names and their legal guardians. The office also suggests those affected put a freeze on their credit and consider placing a 90-day fraud alert on their credit report. (WGME)
4. A proposed gun range and outdoor center in Standish remains up in the air Monday night. The group running it would require members to also become a member of the NRA and other organizations. While supporters say the town shouldn’t have any say, some councilors and residents believe the group shouldn’t be limiting anyone. Town councilors say they expect to vote Tuesday night at the municipal center at 7. (WGME)
