1. Ten days after 22-year-old Isahak Muse, a Deering High School graduate was shot and killed, his family has hired a lawyer to investigate the Portland Police Department’s handling of the case, according to Essence magazine. Police have not made any arrests or released any new details since the day of the shooting. Lawyer Justin A. Moore raised new allegations about a connection between Portland police and the family living in the home where Muse died, something police officials said has not influenced the case. (PressHerald)

2. Patriots owner Robert Kraft has pleaded not guilty to all charges related to a Florida spa sting in which he’s accused of twice soliciting prostitution. Kraft has also waived his arraignment and requested a jury trial, according to a brief court filing submitted Tuesday on behalf of Kraft by his attorney. (NewsCenterMaine)

3. Five Cumberland Farms in southern Maine will donate a portion of Wednesday’s sales in honor of Captain Joel Barnes. The Cumberland Farms participating will donate 10 cents from every hot or iced coffee or fountain drink. The money will go directly to the Berwick Volunteer Firefighter Association. (WGME)

4. Rockland County, New York is taking an extremely unusual step to ban unvaccinated minors from public places amid a measles outbreak. Unvaccinated people under age 18 are banned from public places including shopping malls, restaurants, churches, schools, etc. (CNN)

5. Tonight’s Powerball jackpot stands at $750 million. It is the fourth largest in U.S. History. That jackpot would still be about half the size of the all-time record for a US lottery drawing, which came in January 2016. That Powerball drawing awarded $1.59 billion. (CNBC)
