1. More than 1,000 demonstrators took to the streets of Portland Tuesday in response to a leaked draft opinion from the Supreme Court indicating they may overturn Roe v. Wade. If Roe v. Wade is overturned, Maine does have abortion-related legislation that passed back in 1993. The law called the Reproductive Privacy Act protects the right to legal abortion under state law even if federal law is overturned.
2. Former candidate for governor Eliot Cutler waived his right to appear in court Tuesday on the child pornography charges against him.Police allegedly found thousands of videos in his Portland home of very young children being sexually abused.
3. Celtics beat the Bucks on Tuesday night to even the Eastern Conference semifinals at one game apiece. The series doesn’t resume until Game 3 on Saturday in Milwaukee.
