It’s 1992, just a few months after the release of 2Pac’s debut album, 2Pacalypse Now, and you got tickets to see him and the rest of Digital Underground perform. You spent $18.50 for your ticket (about $42 in today’s money) and you’re ready to for an amazing show. Not only do you get an amazing show, but 2Pac himself SIGNS YOUR TICKET. It reads, “PEACE 2U 2PAC.” At the time, it’s really cool, but in the years to follow it would begin to carry so much more weight than just any old autograph.
Fast forward to 2024, and apparently the sentimentality of it has worn off. That once prized possession, one that had $18.50 spent on it, is about to net about $2K in an online auction. With time still left on the clock to get bids in, that number could continue to rise. I don’t know about you but I think I’d be hanging on to something as special as that, unless I were in dire need of some funds.
If you’re not in dire need of some funds and want an amazing piece of memorabilia and Hip-Hop history, you can get your bid in here.
