Beyoncé has been officially added to the French language! Her name now lives in the French encyclopedic dictionary, Petit Larousse Illustré. She’s listed as a proper noun with the definition, “American singer of R&B and Pop.”
Beyoncé wasn’t the only person added to the dictionary this year either; LeBron James, Christopher Nolan, and Cate Blanchett were also defined. How cool!
