Busta Rhymes just released “Dillagence II,” a posthumous album with J Dilla nearly 20 years after their original 2007 project. The new album features 19 tracks packed with major guest stars, including Big Sean, Ludacris, Lil Wayne, Common, and Dilla’s mother, Ma Dukes.
Busta held onto nearly 300 unreleased beats from J Dilla before finally selecting the music for this new project. One standout track, “This Woman,” features D’Angelo and brings an unfinished 20-year-old collaboration to life.
Busta said he aims to honor the legacies of his peers by bringing this long-buried material into the spotlight!
