Hov and his team were shocked to hear what Kanye said on stage at a recent concert. “There will never be a Watch The Throne 2”, Kanye yelled. He went on to complain about Tidal, and even blamed Jay-z for distracting him from featuring in a Drake song.
Kareem “Biggs” Burke, co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records, says he was taken completely by surprise. “The last time I saw [West], he spoke very highly of Jay . . . There was never anything rumbling. So when you hear things in public, it’s a little shocking.”
Jay-Z has not publicly responded to the comments, but as always, we’ll keep you posted.
