Everyone has their signature look, garment, or piece of jewelry. Michael Jackson’s glove and hat, Nelly’s bandaid, Marilyn Monroe’s dress – the list goes on! Well, it doesn’t get much more iconic than Flavor Flav’s signature gaudy clock that have been hanging from his neck for decades. He says he wants that to be the way he is remembered forever, so much so that he says when he’s in his casket someday, he should be wearing one too.
“I might request that on top of my coffin is a built-in clock,” he said. “And then also when you open up the lid, there’s a big clock. Yeah, and on the tombstone, it should be a clock.” When asked for the epitaph that should adorn said tombstone, he joked, “‘It’s about time.’”
When asked which specific clock he should be adorned in when the times comes, Flav said, “You would have to ask my family that one because I’ll be dead. I don’t know what the f*ck is going on.”
