The official trailer for Hulu’s remake of “White Men Can’t Jump” features Sinqua Walls and rapper Jack Harlow as Los Angeles streetball hustlers, taking over the roles played by Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson in the original film. Directed by Calmatic, the film is full of on-court trash-talk and follows the story of two basketball players who discover they have more in common than they thought. The film also stars Teyana Taylor, Laura Harrier, Vince Staples, Myles Bullock, and the late Lance Reddick. “White Men Can’t Jump” will begin streaming on Hulu on May 19th.
The original “White Men Can’t Jump” is in my top 5 favorite movies (depending on the time of year it might be #1). Did we need a remake? Definitely not. Will I watch the remake on May 19th? Yes. Do I dislike Jack Harlow for getting my dream role? Also, yes.
